SVHN for Roofers

Re-roofs on second-cycle homes, not ladder-free guesses.

Most Bay Area homes were built 1950-1990 - roofs on their second or third cycle. SVHN sends leak, repair and replacement requests with roof age, material, stories, solar or skylights, insurance and HOA answers, and photos taken from the ground - one roofer at a time.

  • No monthly fee · pay only for jobs you accept
  • One roofer at a time, never a shared lead
  • Founding pros: first 2 matches free

Sound familiar?

The headaches every roofer knows - and what SVHN does about each

Free inspections that turn into free consulting.

Homeowners answer roof age, material, stories, solar/skylights and whether insurance or an HOA is involved, and send photos; price shoppers get typical prices instead of your number.

Storm week: 40 calls, half of them not real.

Requests are verified (phone, address in your area, decision-maker) and urgent leaks are flagged.

Dead time in summer.

Route days and "roof check before the rains" Block Deals fill a street in August-September.

Sellers who need a roof cert by Friday.

Listing-prep and escrow repair requests arrive with a finish-by date or contingency deadline.

What lands on your phone

Every request is answered before it reaches you

These are the actual questions and photo prompts homeowners answer for roofers on SVHN. Phone verified, address in your area, decision-maker confirmed - every time.

Ready to hire
  • Is water coming inside right now?
  • What's the roof made of?
  • How many stories is the home?
  • About how old is the roof?
  • Solar panels or skylights on the roof?
  • Is insurance involved?
  • Is there an HOA that needs to approve roof work?
  • About how many square feet is the home?
  • When do you need the inspection report?

Photos homeowners are asked for

  • • Roof from the ground - each side you can see
  • • Inside stain or drip
  • • Attic where the leak is - only if easy and safe

You see all of this before you accept or pay anything. Unreachable, spam, wrong trade or area? The deposit comes back as a credit.

What it costs

Lead fees for roofers, by job type

No monthly fee. A small deposit when you accept (it counts toward the total); the balance only when the job closes. Close it within 7 days and the balance is 20% off.

Job typeUsuallyDeposit at acceptTotal lead fee
Active leakStandard repair$35$75
RepairStandard repair$35$75
ReplacementLarge project$179$695
InspectionSmall fix$19$19

The band can move with the answers (a water heater replacement is bigger than a repair). Emergencies add $10 to the deposit. Your own customers who book through your link are $0. Route days: one flat $45 for the whole day, only if 3 homes confirm.

Questions

What roofers ask us

Do I get emergency leak calls?

Urgent leaks are flagged and carry a small emergency surcharge on the deposit. You decide whether you take emergency work in job preferences.

Are full replacements priced differently?

Yes - a re-roof is a Large project band. Small repairs are much less. See the table on this page.

Can I bring my own customers?

Yes, and they're always $0 when they come through your link, badge or QR code.
