SVHN for Plumbers
Water heaters and sewer lines, not tire-kickers.
Homeowners tell us what's happening, whether water is leaking right now and when the home was built, and send photos of the label, the leak or the backed-up fixture - before the request ever reaches you. One plumber at a time. No monthly fee.
- No monthly fee · pay only for jobs you accept
- One plumber at a time, never a shared lead
- Founding pros: first 2 matches free
Sound familiar?
The headaches every plumber knows - and what SVHN does about each
"How much to replace a water heater?" calls that never book.
Price shoppers get a typical price range from SVHN, not your phone number. Only ready-to-hire requests become Job Cards.
Shared leads: you race four other plumbers to the same homeowner.
Each Job Card goes to one plumber at a time. If you pass, it goes to the next - nobody else is calling while you're deciding.
Driving out to find it's a 75-gallon gas tank in an attic, not the 40 in the garage they described.
The request asks what type it is and wants photos of the label, the whole unit and the space around it, and the pipes and vent on top.
Your best repeat customers forget your name by the next flush.
QR stickers on the heaters you install, a "due for service" list, and customers who come back through your own link cost $0.
What lands on your phone
Every request is answered before it reaches you
These are the actual questions and photo prompts homeowners answer for plumbers on SVHN. Phone verified, address in your area, decision-maker confirmed - every time.

What it costs
Lead fees for plumbers, by job type
No monthly fee. A small deposit when you accept (it counts toward the total); the balance only when the job closes. Close it within 7 days and the balance is 20% off.
| Job type | Usually | Deposit at accept | Total lead fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Water heater | Standard repair | $35 | $75 |
| Leak | Standard repair | $35 | $75 |
| Clogged drain | Small fix | $19 | $19 |
| Toilet/faucet/fixture | Small fix | $19 | $19 |
| Sewer/main line/repipe | Major repair/replacement | $69 | $175 |
The band can move with the answers (a water heater replacement is bigger than a repair). Emergencies add $10 to the deposit. Your own customers who book through your link are $0.

Built for how plumbers actually work
Everything here is live on SVHN today and free with your page unless it says otherwise.
Job Cards, one pro at a time
See the label photo, the leak and the outside cleanout before you accept.
Each request goes to one pro at a time. You see the photos, answers and address area before you accept or pay anything.
Dashboard → Opportunities
QR stickers on equipment
Stick one on every water heater and softener you touch - the next call comes to you, not Google.
Print a sticker for the water heater, furnace or panel you serviced. The homeowner scans it to see the history and book you again.
Dashboard → QR stickers
Rebate autopilot
Heat pump water heater installs: the homeowner is told the rebates and what to keep for the claim, so the upsell sells itself.
When your job qualifies (heat pump, heat pump water heater, panel, insulation), the homeowner is told which city and utility rebates apply and what to save for the claim.
Automatic on qualifying jobs
Permit helper
Water heater swaps need a permit in most cities - the work description and city link are on the Job Card.
A suggested permit work description and the city's permit link on the Job Card, reminders, and the permit recorded on the homeowner's Home Record.
Accepted Job Card
Pass a job / add a trade
Camera finds a collapsed lateral that needs excavation? Bring in the next trade from the Job Card.
Can't take it? Pass it to a pro you trust. Finds a sewer line problem? Bring in the next trade. You get a $15 fee credit when a passed job is finished.

How to start
Your first week
- 1Claim your free page and add your C-36 license (it shows as a check on your page).
- 2Set job preferences: water heaters, drains, leaks, sewer, repipes - and the smallest job you'll take.
- 3Connect your calendar so open time posts itself.
- 4Accept your first Job Card. Founding pros' first 2 matches are free.
- 5Print QR stickers for the next three water heaters you service.
License and compliance
California requires a CSLB C-36 Plumbing license for jobs of $1,000 or more (labor and materials). SVHN shows license checks on your page and asks you to keep the license and insurance your work requires.
Questions
What plumbers ask us
Do I pay for calls that don't turn into jobs?
You pay a small deposit only when you accept a Job Card, after you've seen the photos and answers. If the homeowner is unreachable, it's spam or the wrong trade or area, the deposit comes back as a credit. The rest of the fee is only due when the job closes.
What does a water heater lead cost?
A water heater repair starts in the Standard repair band and a replacement in the Major repair band - see the table on this page. Close it honestly within 7 days and the balance is 20% off.
Will SVHN send my customers to other plumbers later?
No. Customers you bring through your own link, sticker or badge are yours at $0, and SVHN never offers a homeowner it matched to you to a competitor unless they ask for someone new.
