What you can count on from SVHN every time you ask us to find a pro.
Free for you
Requesting a pro through SVHN costs you nothing. Pros pay SVHN for the jobs they choose to take; you pay the pro only for the work you agree with them.
One pro at a time
We offer your job to one local pro at a time, not to a crowd. You won't get a flood of calls from companies you've never heard of.
Your details stay private
Your name, phone and email go only to the pro who accepts your job. We never sell your information. Photos you add are used for your request.
A person reads every request
Someone at SVHN reviews your request before it goes out, so the pro who calls already understands the job.
If a pro doesn't follow through, we find another
If the pro can't take your job, doesn't get in touch, or doesn't show up, tell us and we'll offer to send your request to another pro, at no cost to you.
We listen when something goes wrong
We check in after the visit and after the job. If you have a problem with a pro, tell us. We'll contact the pro to help sort it out, and it counts toward whether they keep getting SVHN jobs.
What the Promise doesn't cover
SVHN introduces you to independent local businesses. SVHN is not the contractor, isn't part of your agreement with the pro, and doesn't guarantee their work, prices or results, or refund what you pay them. Before you hire, ask for a written estimate, and for work of $1,000 or more in California, check the contractor's license at cslb.ca.gov. In an emergency (gas smell, sparks, smoke, flooding near electrics) leave the area and call 911 or your utility first. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
