For homeowners

Tell us once. We've got the pro.

One quick request goes to one trusted pro from our network, and someone at SVHN follows up until it's done. Free for homeowners.

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

About two minutes. Pick the job, answer a few quick questions and add photos, so the pro understands it before they call.

  2. 2

    Confirm your email

One tap in the email we send. It tells pros you're real, and it's where your updates go.

  3. 3

We send it to one local pro

A person at SVHN reads every request, then offers it to one pro who does that work in your area. Not a list of five companies all calling you.

  4. 4

    Track every step

Your tracking page and emails show when the pro accepts, reaches out, schedules and heads over.

  5. 5

    We check in after

After the visit and after the job, we ask how it went. Your answers keep pros honest and help the next homeowner.

Questions

What does it cost me?

Nothing. Requesting a pro through SVHN is free for homeowners. You agree the price of the work directly with the pro, and you pay them, not SVHN. Pros pay SVHN a fee for jobs they choose to take.

Will my phone blow up with calls?

No. We send your request to one pro at a time. Your name, phone and email go only to the pro who accepts your job. We don't sell your details.

Who are the pros?

Local businesses that do the work you asked for in your area. They agree to SVHN's Pro Terms, including keeping the licenses and insurance their work requires. Every job is followed up with you, and pros with repeated problems stop getting jobs.

What if the pro doesn't get back to me, or can't do it?

Tell us when we check in, or reply to any SVHN email. If a pro can't take your job or doesn't follow through, we'll offer to send it to another pro.

Is it an emergency?

If you smell gas, see sparks or smoke, or anyone is in danger, leave the area and call 911 or your utility first. Then send your request and choose the fastest timing.

Is SVHN the contractor?

No. SVHN introduces you to an independent local pro. Your agreement, price and payment are with them. For work of $1,000 or more in California, check the contractor's license at cslb.ca.gov.
