SVHN for General contractors

ADUs and additions with a budget and a stage, not a dream.

Big-build requests on SVHN ask where the homeowner is in planning, the size, the budget, whether the home is pre-1978 and whether an engineer has looked at it - with photos, plans or reports attached. You choose the job types and sizes you want.

  • No monthly fee · pay only for jobs you accept
  • One general contractor at a time, never a shared lead

Sound familiar?

The headaches every general contractor knows - and what SVHN does about each

Three meetings with someone who hasn't talked to an architect.

Requests say where they are in planning, the budget, the size and whether an engineer has looked at it - with plans or sketches attached if they have them.

Subs who disappear mid-job.

Your network on SVHN: pass a scope to a trusted sub, see who's licensed and insured, and post openings with pay ranges on SVHN Jobs.

Small jobs mixed in with real projects.

Set the job types and minimum size you take; big-build requests have their own place.

Permits and ADU rules differ by city.

The Permit Checker covers 59 cities and the permit helper tracks each job's permit to final.

Questions

What general contractors ask us

Are big projects expensive leads?

Large projects are the top band and the deposit counts toward the total; you only pay after seeing the scope. See the table on this page.

Do I have to take small jobs?

No. Choose the job types and minimum size; small jobs go to handymen and trade pros.

Can my team use it?

Yes - add team seats so your office or estimator can accept and answer jobs.
